QWEL (English) - Santa Rosa, CA
The Sonoma-Marin Saving Water Partnership and the Santa Rosa Junior College are offering the opportunity to become QWEL certified as a component of the Hort 144 Landscape Irrigation class.
This 3 unit course prepares students to design, install, maintain, and audit a water efficient landscape irrigation system. Topics include basic water supply, basic hydraulics, component identification and terminology, system layout, pipe sizing, and types of valves, heads, and controllers, and practices related to appropriate horticulture for California.
Registration for this class is through the SRJC website.
The text for the QWEL component of the class is the QWEL Reference Manual Sonoma-Marin Version.
