QWEL (English) - Aspen, CO

This Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) Training is sponsored by the City of Aspen and registration is free for local landscape professionals in the Roaring Fork Valley. 

 

Course curriculum will be taught by Norris Design and CalSense. By registering for this class, you agree to attend all sessions listed below. To pass the QWEL course participants must complete a hands-on irrigation audit and pass the QWEL exam.

 

QWEL graduates are certified to perform third party irrigation audits as specified by the City of Aspen's Water Efficient Landscaping Standards and will be listed for hire on the City of Aspen, QWEL, and EPA WaterSense websites.

  2. Sustainable Landscaping
  3. Soils
  4. Landscape Water
  5. Irrigation Systems
  6. Irrigation Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  7. Irrigation Auditing
  8. Irrigation Scheduling
  9. Irrigation Controllers
  10. Bringing It All Together

This class is for landscape professionals working in the Roaring Fork Valley. Please contact Victoria Arling (va@waternow.org) if you would like to attend and do not live and work in the Aspen area.
