QWEL Exam (English) - Santa Rosa, CA

srjc-level2-logo.gifThe Sonoma-Marin Saving Water Partnership and the Santa Rosa Junior College are pleased to offer students enrolled in the Hort 144 Landscape Irrigation class the opportunity to become QWEL certified.

The text for the QWEL certification is the QWEL Reference Manual Sonoma-Marin Version.

The formula sheet for use during the exam is available at the back of the reference manual or can be downloaded using the link below.

The exam is being conducted online using Canvas and the Proctorio exam proctoring service. Proctorio requires the use of the Chrome web browser on a desktop or laptop computer with a web cam and microphone. Participants will be required to show a photo ID to take the exam.

The QWEL exam is open book. It consists of 100 multiple choice questions based on the learning objectives laid out in the QWEL reference manual. The passing grade for the QWEL exam is 75 out of 100. The time limit to take the exam is 3-hours. The exam includes the use of a calculator to perform the types of calculation explained in the reference manual such as those used when performing an irrigation audit and when creating an irrigation schedule. The formulas are provided within the quiz an show up in the questions.
