Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) Course
This class is a dual certification class opportunity.
This is the registration for the QWEL Irrigation Audit portion of the class.
You can register for this class alone, or register for this class and register for the QWEL Graywater Installer class and get two certifications in one week. This requires registering for both classes.
It is not required you sign up for both classes; however two separate registrations are required to get both QWEL certificates.
THIS REGISTRATION IS FOR THE QWEL IRRIGATION WATER AUDIT CLASS.
The QWEL training will be taught in English and facilitated in-person by a certified QWEL instructor.
Space is limited. Registration closes on 3/8/2026 or when class is full.
The in-person classes will cover all sections of the QWEL reference manual. This includes topics on:
In order to obtain QWEL certification, individuals must complete an irrigation audit (covered in class) and pass the QWEL exam. The QWEL exam will be administered in-person on March 13th.

PRESENTER: Doug Pushard
QWEL is a nationally recognized Irrigation Water Auditor class. Doug has been teaching QWEL for over a decade and performed both residential and commercial landscape water audits. Doug has installed hundreds of rainwater, stormwater and graywater systems. Doug is an instructor at both Red Rocks Community College and Santa Fe Community College.
Doug is certified to teach both the QWEL Water Auditor class and the QWEL Graywater Installer class. Doug is also an instructor for the IAPMO Commercial Water Auditor class and for Green Builder Coalition to teach the Water Efficiency Rating Score classes for residential and multi-family properties.

Non-Denver residents will cost $495 per class, or $695 for both classes.
