The QWEL exam is available to students enrolled in the Landscape Management HORT 165.

The QWEL exam is an open-book exam that consists of 100 multiple choice questions based on the learning objectives laid out in sections 1 to 9 of the QWEL reference manual.
The passing grade for the QWEL exam is 75 out of 100. The time limit to take the exam is 3-hours. The exam includes the use of a calculator to perform the types of calculation explained in the reference manual such as those used when performing an irrigation audit and when creating an irrigation schedule. A formula sheet will be provided to participants.
