This 6-week evening class series will offer participants the opportunity to obtain both QWEL and Green Gardener certification.
The QWEL/Green Gardener training is available to professionals conducting business or employed in the Monterey Bay Area
Where: Class instruction will be on Zoom in English, and simultaneously interpreted to Spanish. Participants who do not have a computer or reliable internet access can attend class in-person at the Watsonville Adult School, 294 Green Valley Road, Watsonville.
When: Tuesday and Thursdays, 6:30-8:30pm, April 14-May 24. No class on April 26.

Certification Requirements
In order to obtain QWEL certification, individuals must complete an in-person irrigation audit on Saturday, May 14 and pass the QWEL exam. Exams will be administered in-person in Watsonville on Tuesday, May 24. Those who earn their QWEL certification will be listed as a Certified Professional on the QWEL and U.S. EPA WaterSense websites.
Participants seeking Green Gardener certification must pass a take-home exam, and attend 80% of classes, including additional outdoor maintenance skills classes on Saturday, May 7 and May 21.
